Herb's Paint & Body is a family of auto repair businesses founded in
1956. Herb Walne started his business with a Humble Gas Station located
at the corner of Northwest Highway and Easton Road in Lake Highlands,
a northeast Dallas neighborhood. From day one, superior
customer service separated Herb's from competitors. Herb (in picture
buffing car) knew that this would be the most important quality and instilled
this same mindset in his son Alan (in picture with blue shorts). Soon
after opening the gas station, Herb added a full service mechanical shop,
followed by a state-of-the-art, drive-through car wash.  Herb's
next addition would be a full-service paint and body shop that has become
an icon in and around the Dallas area. Herb's Paint & Body Shops have
evolved to become Herb Walne's signature on the city of Dallas. Today,
customer service is still our number one concern. Currently, there are
seven full-service Herb's Paint & Body shops in the Dallas metro area.
